Lead Electrical Engineer 

Job description

Responsibilities

  • The candidate will be responsible for managing day to day tasks of the discipline to ensure quality schematic designs progress in accordance to schedule and within budgetary guidelines.

  • The ideal candidate must have solid experience in design, detailing, and specification of construction contract administration; provide design services to multiple concurrent projects; and provide direct professional support to clients.

  • Preferred candidate should be LEED Certified.

  • Responsible for the design of electrical systems from schematics through construction administration of electrical systems for residential and commercial projects including restaurants, hotels, condos, mixed-use buildings and others.

  • Create detailed drawings utilizing standardized drawing techniques with minimal supervision.

  • Create complete and accurate drawings while meeting internal and external deadlines.

  • Design to the client’s specifications, including information about loads, requirements, materials, specs, others.

  • Create fire suppression sprinkler systems.

Education

  • Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related technical field.

  • P.E. desired

Skills

  • 5 years of design/drafting electrical engineering construction documents for residences and commercial projects.

  • English required, Spanish a plus.

  • Excellent computer skills with proficiency in AutoCAD and MSOffice products.

  • Experience in Autodesk Revit Products and Building Information Modeling software desired.

  • Ability to develop electrical designs from conception through completion of construction.

  • Construction administration field experience required.

  • Project Management.

  • Strong problem-solving skills.

  • High level of accuracy / quality of work.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Highly organized with ability to multi-task efficiently.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $80,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year

Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

Design mechanical (HVAC) systems on a variety of residential and commercial projects for new buildings, and for renovations and additions to existing facilities. Experienced in load & energy calculations, AUTOCAD production, design documents, basic specifications, and the construction administration process.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of conceptual designs in Auto CAD

  • Development of final construction documents

  • Participation in client meetings

  • Project management experience

  • Client services experience

  • Coordination of project designs with other disciplines and design team

  • Perform heat Load calculations; Energy calculations, Outside Air Calculations, drawings, and specifications related to heating, ventilating, and air-conditioning systems, equipment selection & sizing, pipe and duct sizing, friction loss calculation.

  • Relocation assistance available for the right candidates. USA residents only. We do not offer work visa.

Education

Requirements​

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.

  • Solid knowledge of building & mechanical codes and energy compliance calculations in HVAC construction.

  • Ability to manage selected projects at various stages of design and construction.

  • Ability to meet fast-paced deadlines while maintaining quality design.

  • Highly proficient in the use of AutoCAD and engineering modeling tools such as TRANE Software, E20 Engineering Software, HAP, and Florida EnergyGauge Software.

  • Experience with REVIT is a plus

  • Must be self-motivated, Excellent interpersonal skills, Bilingual, English and Spanish

  • LEED Accreditation is a plus.

P.E. License is a plus.                                               

Job Type: Full-time                                             

Salary: $80,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
